Generating API Keys

To start integrating and using our SMS and USSD services, you’ll need to generate an API key for authentication. Don't worry, we'll guide you through the process step by step.

1. Navigate to the API Integration Page​

Start by heading over to the API Integration Page. This is where you’ll manage your API keys and access the services Comms360 has to offer.

2. Generate API Keys​

Once you’re on the API Integration Page, click on the Generate API Keys button. This will allow you to create the necessary credentials to authenticate your requests.

3. Fill Out Required Information​

A form will appear asking for some details:

  • API Name : The name of the API you want to create.
  • Callback URL : A user-defined endpoint to receive updates about data processing states.
  • Access Types : Select at least one URL for API access. Fill out the required fields with the appropriate information. After completing the form, click Generate.

4. View and Save Your Client ID & Client Secret​

Once you generate your API keys, you’ll be presented with a Client ID and Client Secret. This is your secure gateway to accessing our services.

You will only be able to view these keys once, so please make sure to copy and save them in a secure place. These keys are crucial for generating an authentication token, which you’ll need for accessing Comms360 services.

Base URL​

The base URL for all Comms360 API endpoints is as below. Make sure to prepend this base URL to all API endpoint paths mentioned in the following sections.
